Victoria 2 Wiki:Style/decisions

When writing a decision, split the page into four areas: description, requirements, effects, and optional (strategy, Wikipedia links, etc.).

Description needs no headings, as it is simply an extension of the main page itself.

Requirements should be split into two separate sub-areas: potential and allow. Potential are all the triggers needed for the decision to appear on the in-game list, while allow are all the triggers needed to enact the decision.

Effects are what happens when the decision is enacted. Should the effects include an increase or decrease to something that appears in-game as a colored modifier, include the color code. For example, {{green|20}} [[prestige]] will produce 20 prestige.

Optional is the area that is left entirely up to the editor. Example sections might include links to a Wikipedia article, or strategy based around this decision. Please follow the wiki's style guidelines for writing.
